安大略省有超過40萬名醫護人員。其中包括醫生、牙醫、護士、人體運動治療師、按摩治療師等許多專業人士。安大略省醫療監管機構是監督這些專業人士的26間院所。我們的名稱為院所，但並非代表醫護人員的院校或機構。安大略省醫療監管機構：

  • 制定在安大略省成為醫護專業人士的要求。　只有合格的醫護人員才能註冊並執業。
  • 制定並強化職業規範與標準，讓您與親屬接受醫護人員提供的安全、符合需求與道德標準的照護與服務。
  • 要求醫護人員參加年度計畫，接收最新知識並更新技能。
  • 在網路上提供註冊執業者的名單，以便您確認某從業人員的狀態。
  • 接收並調查受我們監管的執業者的投訴案件。
