Citizen Advisory Group – Apply to be a Member

We’re looking for patients and caregivers from across Ontario. As a Member, you’ll help support health regulators’ work in protecting the public interest.

The Citizen Advisory Group (CAG) is committed to promoting diversity and actively seeks prospective Members who are part of equity-deserving, marginalized, and/or underrepresented groups.


Please note that at this time, the CAG is not accepting applications from those who:

  • were previously or are actively registered as a regulated health professional in any jurisdiction;
  • have been or be actively employed by any regulatory college in any jurisdiction; or
  • have been or be actively sitting on Council (Board) or a Committee of any regulatory college in any jurisdiction.

Please note that Members cannot be involved in any active regulatory matter.

The CAG Committee retains sole discretion in the recruitment, selection, and appointment of Members. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. In making recruitment decisions, the Committee may consider the needs of the CAG, membership composition, diversity of perspectives and experiences, and any other factors the Committee considers relevant to maintaining the purpose, integrity, and effective functioning of the CAG.


CAG Membership Terms of Reference and Code of Conduct (“Membership ToRC”)

CAG Members are accountable to each other through compliance with this governance document. This Membership ToRC sets and maintains a standard of conduct and ethical behaviour reasonably expected of Members. Adherence with this Membership ToRC is required for all CAG Members:
